Wonderful tall sleek storage unit made from particle board and MDF with an beech effect finish, ideal for keeping all your CDs in order and with such a small footprint too. Capacity of up to 360 CDs over 24 16w x 15.6d cm cubbies which are fully adjustable in height (except for the fixed centre shelves) Can also store taller CDs, DVDs, Blu-Ray or computer games if desired by adjusting the shelf heights - capacity of up to 160 DVDs over 16 cubbies. NOTE: due to the height this product is constructed in two sections.

This item is neither a CD rack or a DVD rack but a curious mix of the two, as it is impossible to configure the shelves for all CDs or DVDs, owing to the placement of the holes for the pins supporting the shelves, and the placement of the fixed central shelves. I tried to configure the shelves for the maximum number of CDs but was left with two DVD sized 'compartments' on either side of the central shelf. I think that a similar problem would occur if trying to arrange the shelves for just DVDs. Unfortunately by the time I realised this I had glued together the two parts of the side and centre upright pieces making it impossible to return the racks. It should also be noted that the two part construction of the uprights introduces a weakness into the unit and even when glued it was difficult to move from one room to another without the join=t coming apart, so put the item together in the room in which you want to use it, Despite being careful both units came apart when we tried to move them, and will be disposed of as soon as possible.
In general were very disappointed with what at first sight appeared to be a replacement for a similar unit discontinued by another supplier.
The CD storage unit was easy to assemble and was a good solution for using up a narrow space in the room. Delivery from the supplier was quick.
Easy enough to assemble but like all this type of furniture a third hand would be useful. If used purely for dvds it is excellent there is an issue with cds though because if you put shelves in for maximum storage it is a b***s ache to get the cds out. Easy to get round by putting one less cd in each slot so there is space to get a finger in or leave one offset so it can be got out easily to allow access to others. Tried second method but someone thought it looked untidy and pushed them in leading to a 'warm discussion' !!. Other than that quibble all good although I would dispute total claimed storage

Easy to put together, even though some of the pieces were not marked. 2 pairs of hands would help, but not essential. I couldn't make the side uprights line up perfectly, and the stickers provided to cover screw-holes are glaringly inaccurate, colour-wise. Perhaps I'm being too picky. For the price. It's O.K.
